was in town for a wedding so the day before the big day, all the ladies went to the salon for mani/pedi’s. The stairs leading up to the spa are beautiful and the place is very cozy and relaxing. There were five of us girls and three women to do our mani/pedi’s. It was a little slow going at first but we kind of took over the place and after two hours of being there, we were all chatting like old buddies.
Being from the land o’ $20 mani/pedi’s, this was definitely a different experience. They use big copper tubs to soak your feet in and fancy sugar scrubs and such. It was nice but I kind of missed the jets and massage chair from my regular spot.
Overall, the spa was very clean and they took care of us. I thought the price was a bit steep ($75) but again, I can get a $7 manicure in Brooklyn so my perspective is a little off.
